New to CFWBC? Here is what you can expect when you join us.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE?
When you arrive at 833 S Willow Avenue and turn onto Newman drive, we offer two parking lots. One on Newman Drive and one between us and Potter’s. The MAIN ENTRANCE to the church is located between us and Potter’s. Follow the signs for parking. If you’re visiting with us, feel free to park in one of the designated visitor parking spaces. One of our volunteers will greet you at the door and answer any questions you may have. If you brought kids with you the volunteers can direct you to specific classes just for their age.
WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?
You will find the people at CFWBC are very friendly. Sermons preached will challenge your walk with the Lord and teach you much about scripture. We have classes during the worship hour for nursery to age 11. If we can be of any help to you, please do not hesitate to let us know. Look for someone wearing a colored lanyard with a photo ID, identifying them as a staff member. We’re glad you’re here!
Our Wednesday evening service begins at 7:00pm. While worship is going on, there are classes for children nursery age through high school. A women’s bible study is also going on at this time. Crosspoint meets at 7:00 in the upstairs of the church. This is a ministry for our college age and young adults.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Background checks have been completed on all teachers and volunteers working with our children. Our policies have always reflected our desire to protect your children and our adult teachers and volunteers.
During all worship times, we offer a nursery. It is fully functional and well staffed. For our nursery we have a check in/out system. This is an automated check-in system that will provide an added level of security for our nursery children. Families will be able to sign their children in and receive a “beeper” should the parent be needed during the service. We believe that this system raises the level of security while increasing the quality of care that we can give your children.
